First Look. Ferris’ New ISX800 Zero Turn

November… In the power equipment world this is when all the new models for the coming year get unveiled. One that really caught my eye is the new ISX800 from Ferris Industries.

Known for their independent suspension and grease-able components, Ferris has been a leader in commercial zero turn lawn equipment.

Up to this point, The middle of the road Ferris “pro-sumer”  if you will, was the IS700. A decently equipped mower with upgraded pumps, a ‘better than box store’ engine and dampening front axle.

It appears that The ISX800 is now going to replace most of the IS700 models.

Here are a couple of bullet points that Ferris is advertising…

Generation 2 suspension allows mowing on uneven terrain without slowing down, and provides a smoother experience for the operator

3-year belt limited warranty*

4-year limited suspension warranty*

Premium mid-back Seat
